About us

ppqSense was established following research conducted at the CNR (National Research Council) in Florence with the objective of developing instruments that will enhance the quality of life for people across the globe.

We aim to contribute to the ecological transition and the emergence of the Net Zero carbon initiative by providing new technologies to researchers and industries.

Our team includes experts in the design of high-quality electronics for semiconductor lasers, opto-mechanical designers and physicists. We are particularly proud to produce and sell the first laser spectrometer capable of measuring 14C (C14-SCAR) and high-quality laser driver systems.

Careers

ppqSense is seeking motivated professionals to further develop the first laser spectrometer capable of measuring radiocarbon. Our SCAR technology is a new and promising solution that is already competitive with established AMS and LSC technologies. By joining our team, you will contribute to an innovative company where you can advance projects by sharing your ideas and expertise.

Sustainability

Our technology is designed for use in research and industries that promote sustainability in a number of areas.
One of our primary objectives is to develop a precise, cost-effective and efficient tool that facilitates material testing and produces higher quality scientific results for the environment.

As a company, we recognise our responsibility to develop new technologies in a sustainable way.

We are committed to the Net Zero Carbon initiative in Europe and use electricity strictly from renewable sources, including several hydroelectric power plants located in Italy.
